Register now below as a new user and you can instantly log on to the selector module where the system will generate for you a guaranteed fit for purpose door schedule that meets UK specifications. Register as a user with the fabricators module and 24 hours later you can use the system to assist your manufacturing plant in correctly fabricating the fire doors required to the detailed and correct specification with the added piece of mind that the door sets have been exhaustively tested and passed all UK specifications. Other users cannot view what has been submitted by you. Specifiers Module The specifiers tool will design a fit for purpose door set meeting your desired performance requirements without any one element compromising the performance of any other elements. By selecting from a drop down menu on each question you will generate a door schedule which can be cut and pasted into your drawings, printed or sent electronically to your fabricator for manufacture. There is the added assurance that the specification generated has been proved by testing and meets International test standards. The tool will reduce the time it takes you to generate a door schedule by reducing the need for you to source the information. To use the system: log on and enter the project reference. Enter the specific door reference and then answer each question. A drop down selection box will provide you with a choice of answers. Clicking onto the glazing and ironmongery boxes will bring up a new page where your specific requirement may be selected. Enter the door height and width and click on the ‘check specification’ box - the system will determine whether the sizes you have entered are permissible. If the sizes need amending a red warning message will appear. Select the Halspan blank required and the following page displays the selection you made along with the structural opening needed for the door set. Add the door to the schedule if the specification is ok, otherwise go back and amend if needed. Individual doors may be copied or amended if required at any time. Fabricators Module The fabricator’s tool will take the door schedule generated by the specifiers tool but give you all the extra information needed to manufacture the door set to the Halspan standards. Once registered please allow 24 hours before accessing the module. To use the system: log on and enter the project reference and your local Halspan blank distributor. Enter into the door schedule and load required door. Select the parameters you require to generate manufacturing instructions. These can be printed off if so desired. To use both the specifier and fabricator tools you must register each time in each module with different user names and passwords.
